This nutritional yeast is a unique, non GMO vegetarian food with 8 grams of quality protein/svg, containing both essential and non-essential amino acids. This powder is naturally rich in selenium. It is produced from a specially selected strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae that is grown on molasses under carefully controlled conditions. Nutritional yeast has a pleasantly nutty taste that can enliven any dish: simply add it to baked potatoes, kale chips, vegetables, grain dishes, popcorn and more. It does not encourage candida or other yeast growth.
